About Dr. Jacobson:

Dr. Jacobson was born and raised in Queens, New York. He attended Cardozo High School and was a proud graduate of their first graduating class. Dr. Jacobson went on to SUNY Stony Brook where he majored in Biology. He received his DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1978. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Jacobson was Captain in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corp. for 3 years. He was stationed in Washington D.C. and affiliated with the Pentagon.

Dr. Jacobson has been practicing dentistry in Ridgewood and Glendale, Queens for over 34 years. He prides himself on providing comprehensive care with an emphasis on conservative quality care. He has an easy-going, friendly personality that appeals to patients of all ages, especially those who are nervous. Many patients choose Dr. Jacobson for his “painless” injections and report that “I didn’t know he had given me the injection.” His ability to establish genuine patient relationships is evident by his loyal following.

Since 1978, Dr. Jacobson has been an active participating member of the American Dental Association. He is a lifelong learner and has taken over eight hundred hours of continuing education courses. Dr. Jacobson strives to stay abreast of the latest techniques, procedures, and materials in the field of dentistry.

One of Dr. Jacobson’s strengths is his commitment to a patient-oriented practice and spending more time with patients than most dentists.
